All Elden Ring Nightreign map icons and what they mean

Know where to go.

Before you know where you’re going, you need to know where you’ve been. And in games, just like in life, sometimes a map can really help with this problem.

The map is a crucial part of Elden Ring Nightreign. Like any battle royale-like game, it’s important to keep an eye on the encroaching night storm circle, plot your next move, and look for key areas that you need to go to before each night ends so that you can make it until the third day and fight against the powerful Night Lord boss.

When you first open up your map in Nightreign, it can be very confusing as there are a dozen or more different icons that appear. It’s imperative to know what each icon means when you get into the heat of battle so you can think quickly, level up quicker, and fight to the end of each night.

Some of the icons are returning from the base game of Elden Ring, while others are new. Either way, you have to know what you’re looking at and looking for when making your way through each match or expedition in this new From Software title.

Here’s all of Elden Ring Nightreign’s map key icons and what they mean.
