All Demon Slayer arcs in order

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba began its manga run in 2016, with the anime adaptation following a few years after in 2019. With the manga’s conclusion and the anime’s impending end, this is what you need to know about all of the Demon Slayer arcs in order. Better yet, we’ll keep this completely spoiler-free outside of the names.

All Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba arcs, explained

There is a grand total of 12 story arcs in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga and anime series. These 12 arcs span 205 manga chapters, which is quite reasonable for a popular action series of this style. Here are all of the arcs in order from the beginning of the story all the way through until its end:

  • Final Selection Arc
  • Kidnapper’s Bog
  • Asakusa
  • Tsuzumi Mansion
  • Mount Natagumo
  • Rehabilitation Training
  • Mugen Train
  • Entertainment District

Final Selection Arc

The Demon Slayer manga and anime series begins with the Final Selection Arc, which details the main character Tanjiro Kamado’s entry in the Slayer Corps. Here is what you need to know about what manga chapters and anime episodes involve this particular story arc:

  • Manga Chapters: 1-9
  • Anime Episodes: 1-5

Kidnapper’s Bog

The second story arc in this action series, Kidnapper’s Bog, is by far the shortest of the 12. It only encompasses four manga chapters and two episodes of the anime.

  • Manga Chapters: 10-13
  • Anime Episodes: 6-7

Asakusa

The third story arc in the series follows the trend of the previous one with its brief length. It only has six chapters and three anime episodes in the first season under its belt.

Tsuzumi Mansion

This important early story arc introduces some of the major characters in the series. As such, it is a bit longer than its previous arcs at eight manga chapters and four episodes, respectively.

Mount Natagumo

This arc is the first major story arc that goes on for a lengthy period of time and involves several different memorable fight sequences. It is by far the longest up until this point, at 17 chapters of the manga and seven episodes in the first season of the anime.

This story arc concludes the first season of the anime.
