All Confirmed Starfield Companions

All confirmed Starfield companions

Don't explore the depths of space alone when you can bring some companions.

Companions have become an integral part of Bethesda Softworks titles. In Starfield, numerous companions are available to join you in your space-faring adventure as well as to aid you in combat. Some companions can also buff you as well as provide new dialogue options. Also, with some companions you will even be able to build a relationship with an even romance. As of now, we know of two different types of companions: Constellation Companions, and Crewmates.

With so much purpose, you’ll probably want as many companions accompanying you as possible in Starfield. While we don’t know all of the companions you will be able to befriend, we do know some of them. This list is comprised of confirmed Starfield Companions so far.

All Confirmed Constellation Companions in Starfield

Constellation is a legendary space exploration organization in Starfield. The organization focuses on the drive to explore the galaxy and becomes a huge part of the player’s adventure. As such, we will encounter several members of Constellation throughout Starfield that can become companions. Constellation Companions each have four unique skills that can affect your ships and outposts. Also, Constellation Companions appear to be the romanceable characters in Starfield.

Most of the Starfield trailers have featured Sarah Morgan as the one narrating, welcoming you to Constellation. Bethesda claims she is an ex-soldier who is now an explorer and is the leader of the Constellation organization. Based on her skills she will be a valuable asset for exploring new planets. She has the following four skills:

Astrodynamics (****)

Lasers (***)

Leadership (**)

All Confirmed Starfield Crewmates

Even though it hasn’t been confirmed either way, it would appear that, unlike Constellation Companions, Crewmates cannot be romanced. However, Bethesda has made it a point that most Crewmates can assist you in combat. Let’s take a look at all the Starfield Crewmates that are confirmed so far.

Adoring Fan

Fans of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion may recognize the Adoring Fan. Just like in Oblivion, the Adoring Fan will follow you around and shower you with praise. Apparently, you can only get the Adoring Fan as a Crewmate if you select the Hero Worshipped trait in character creation. He has the following three skills:

Heller

Unfortunately, even though we got a brief look at Heller, we don’t know much about him. However, we can assume he’s stuck on a desolate planet as his dialogue segment in the Deep Dive was, “I’ve gotta get off this rock!”. It looks like he may be a great option for managing your outpost. He has the following two skills:

Outpost Engineering (***)

Marika Boros

We got an even briefer glimpse at Marika Boros. All that we know is she is recruited at a space station called The Viewport. She looks to be proficient in some combat skills, so she may be a great option for tagging along for battle. She has the following three skills:

Ballistics (**)

VASCO

VASCO is a comedic utility robot and also the first companion revealed for Starfield. The robot can help repair your ship as well as engage in combat against your enemies. We’ve yet to see his actual skills, though it looks like Vasco will be an excellent companion for space travel.

For now, this is all confirmed Starfield Companions. If any more are revealed we will be sure to add them to this list.
