The distinctive setting of Borderlands is something I have loved to revisit ever since the first installment hit the shelves back in 2009. Exploring Pandora with an impressive arsenal of weapons is fun, but Borderlands SHiFT codes helped me expand my collection even more, including getting my hands on some coveted Legendaries.

How to redeem codes in Borderlands Games
Redeeming SHiFT codes in Borderland games isn’t complicated. Just follow the steps below:
- Go to the SHiFT website.
- Sign in using your PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam credentials.
- Click the Rewards button.
- Enter a code into the Code Redemption text box.
- Press Check.
- Claim your rewards in your in-game Inbox.
How can you get more Borderlands Shift codes?
As a rule of thumb, you can find most Borderlands SHiFT codes on the official X page (@Borderlands) and the developer’s X account (@DuvalMagic). However, some codes are trickier since you can only acquire them through DLCs or Community Challenges. You can hunt for them by browsing the official Borderlands Discord server. Still, the most convenient way to get them from one place is by bookmarking this page and occasionally returning to always be up-to-date with new code drops.
Why are my Borderlands Shift codes not working?
If your Borderlands SHiFT code isn’t working, be sure you didn’t make any typos. Borderlands SHiFT codes are always strings of 25 random characters that must be capitalized, so double-check you didn’t leave an odd letter out, just in case. Some codes aren’t available on all platforms. For your convenience, we added the required platform in the brackets in such cases.
If you double-check everything and your code still gives you trouble, there’s a chance it isn’t valid anymore. Many Borderlands SHiFT codes have an unknown expiration date, which means they can stop working out of the blue and catch everyone by surprise. What do Golden Keys do in Borderlands?
Golden Keys are the items that can unlock the Golden Loot Chests. They provide a great way to obtain rare loot, such as weapons and relics of purple or magenta rarity. In Borderlands 1 and 2, it’s possible to get Legendary gear as well. You can find Golden Loot Chests in the Fyrestone and New Haven in Borderlands 1. You can open them in the Sanctuary and Sanctuary III in Borderlands 2 and 3. Golden Keys are one-use-only, and you can acquire them by redeeming codes from this article.
