You’ve come a long way in your Super Mario RPG journey, and now Bean Valley stands between you and a kingdom in the clouds. But, first, you have secrets to uncover.
Bean Valley has three hidden treasure chests. To find them all, you’ll have to go down a few pipes and fight some freshly watered Piranha Plants. Here’s where to look.
All treasure chests hidden in Booster Tower in Super Mario RPG
#1: Just on the path
When you enter Bean Valley, you’ll see two pipes immediately in front of you. Go down the pipe on the right to follow the critical path forward, and in the small clearing you appear in, move directly left. Jump up and you’ll reveal a Rock Candy.
#2: The lower right pipe
Keep progressing through Bean Valley and you’ll find yourself in a circle of pipes with small Piranha Plants sticking out of them. A Shy Guy will fly overhead watering them, causing them to grow. You can engage in battle with the plants in their larger state, and after defeating them, you can enter the pipes they’re emerging from. To get this hidden treasure chest, enter the pipe on the lower-right side of the formation.
Just around the bend, you’ll find a hidden treasure chest as pictured in the screenshot above. Smack it to net yourself a Croaka Cola.
#3: The right-right pipe
To find the last hidden chest, you’ll need to wait for the Shy Guy to water the plant on the right-most pipe. Just like before, battle it and enter the pipe. You’ll find yourself in an open room. Jump to the corner to your right, and you’ll find the hidden treasure chest as shown in the screenshot above.
Those are all the hidden chests in Bean Valley! Just keep your eyes peeled, since you’ll get some valuable beans here and may even return here to find a casino down the line.
