All anime by MADHOUSE — MADHOUSE anime list

It's a madhouse.

In the annals of anime history, a select number of studios might come to mind as being among the best. To some, studios like MAPPA, Kyoto Animation, or Science Saru might be worthy of discussion. To others, studios like Lerche, A-1 Pictures, or SHAFT might be more deserving of accolades.

Today, we’re not going to be focusing on any of the aforementioned studios, though they’re all fantastic in their own way. No, today we’re going to be singling out an anime studio that has been around since the early ‘70s and continues to blow audiences away with brilliant and mind-bending works. That’s right, we’re going to be talking about MADHOUSE.

In 2023 alone, MADHOUSE has given us titles like My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999, an insightful and beautiful story of found family and love, as well as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, an epic tale of life and the fragility of humankind. But, here’s a list of all of their other works. See if there are any that you recognize, and let us know in the comments what you thought about them!
