All Affinity Missions revolve around playable characters, building their stories and the lore of Mira, deepening your understanding and connection to the world around you. Each Affinity Mission has a certain set of prerequisites to complete before it becomes available to pick up and complete, so here’s a guide on how to do just that.

All Affinity Missions in Xenoblade Chronicles X
Some Affinity Missions will unlock simply by progressing the main story quests of Xenoblade Chronicles X, while others will require more effort to unlock. For some, you’ll need to increase your rank (hearts) with individual characters. There are 56 Affinity Missions to complete in total, 52 of these were present in the original 2015 release of Xenoblade Chronicles X, with four additional ones added for the Definitive Edition.
