Of Ash and Steel is now available globally on PC and console, and you can enjoy different missions on your adventures.

Unlike recent launches, Of Ash and Steel feels very much like an old-school RPG in gameplay and design. You’ll be spending most of your time completing the missions in the main campaign. However, you’ll also want to invest your energy in tracking and finishing the side quests. They will provide you with the necessary XP and other rewards you’ll need for an easier time.

Disclaimer: Work in progress.

The main storyline is divided into different Acts. Once you finish the prelude, it will mark the start of Act 1. I have listed all the main campaign quests that I have discovered so far on my journey.

Act 1

  • Pull Up Weeds
  • Move The Barrels
  • Clear Wolves Den
  • Bandit Troubles

Act 2

  • Ancient Artifact Recovery
  • Dragon Egg Theft
  • Plague Cure Quest
  • Pirate Treasure Hunt
  • Golem Awakening
  • Ghost Ship Mystery
  • Volcano Crisis
  • Royal Assassination Plot

Act 3

  • Seal the Dark Portal

All side missions in Of Ash and Steel

Every act has its own set of side quests you can complete for extra rewards.

Act 1

  • Merchant’s Delivery
  • Herbal Collection
  • Find Missing Cat
  • Knight’s Trial
  • Missing Miner Rescue
  • Fairy Queen’s Blessing

Act 2

  • Plague Cure Quest
  • Pirate Treasure Hunt
  • Golem Awakening
  • Ghost Ship Mastery
  • Diplomatic Mission

Act 3

  • Time Portal Paradox
  • Ancient Weapon Quest
  • Ultimate Champion Tournament

Once again, both sets of quests will be updated once I explore Of Ash and Steel more and experience what it has to offer. All quests reward you with Gold and Experience points, and you can access them from various NPCs.

While completing the main storyline should be your primary objective, the side quests drop plenty of extra XP. Leveling up is one of the most critical tasks, so try to complete side missions whenever possible.
