The new chapter of Deltarune, aka Chapter 5, has five different foxes to find in the castle. You’ll need to find at least three of them as part of the main story. However, finding all five is necessary if you want to take down the secret boss in this chapter.
How to get all five foxes in Deltarune Chapter 5
To find the foxes, you’ll first need to head to the Flower Castle and reach the Second Diner location. It will take you a fair bit of time to clear the in-game content to reach this stage.
Take the door to the left of the Second Diner location, and you’ll come across a room with two fox statues in front of it. We will find all five foxes at this location.
Fox 1
Don’t enter the room with the fox statues in front of it. Instead, go behind the paper walls all the way to the right to get to the Treasure Chest. If you slowly start to move towards the left, you’ll find that one of the paws is actually a fox.
Remember its position in the sequence and pick it up. Carry it until you reach the front of the room, and it counts as the first fox.
Fox 2
Enter the room, and you’ll find plenty of Terracotta models in the room. A fox will be roaming in the center. Force it to move towards the door, and it counts as one.
Fox 3
Head to the bottom-right corner of the room. Push the second last Terracotta Model from the right on the bottom row. As it’s about to fall, the model will reveal itself as a fox.
Fox 4
Head to the north-east corner of the same room, and you’ll find the door to another room. You’ll find several fox silhouettes behind a paper curtain. First, pick one blindly and put it on the blue switch. This will remove the curtain, and you will be able to see which one is the fox.
Fox 5
Return to the room with the Terracotta models, and go to the northwest part of the area. You’ll find another room; head inside, interact with the curtain, and Yellow will reveal himself. You’ll figure out that it’s just a fox in the disguise of Yellow.
Once you find all five foxes, exit the room and go to the next room on the left (the doorway remains locked until you find five foxes). Inside, you’ll find another fox. When you try to interact with it, the fox disappears, leaving behind a Treasure Chest.
You’ll find a Pink Coin from the Chest, which is apparently required to get the key that helps you access the Secret Boss fight.
