So, SEGA has been pretty damn quiet on Aliens: Colonial Marines front, only occasionally referencing it to assure us that it’s not dead. Turns out that, while the publisher was publicly mute on the situation, the developer got very chatty behind closed doors — right under our very noses, in fact.
Turns out that the Gearbox-developed take on the Aliens franchise was shown behind closed doors, with some sort of announcement, at this past PAX event. So far, only leaked mobile phone pictures have been shown, but it would appear that some news on the game — some actual damn news — is arriving in the future.
I’ve been waiting for this game for a long time, and I’m praying to the Gods I don’t believe in that it’ll take the taste of Aliens vs. Predator out of my mouth. Here’s hoping there is good stuff on the horizon!
