Alice: Madness Returns has a deeply unsettling intro

I can’t decide for myself what is the most discomforting element of this cinematic. It could be the soothing voice of what I assume is a psychiatric practitioner juxtaposed against Alice’s confused and frantic resistance. More likely, it’s the idea of paper dolls tearing flesh off one another. Yeah, that’s probably the one.

I didn’t realize how quickly the release of Alice: Madness Returns was creeping up. We’re less than one month away from returning to McGee’s vision of Wonderland. Now that I’m looking at some of the preview coverage Hamza and Samit have done on the game, I’m starting to realize that I really should have been paying better attention. This year is going to kill me, I swear it.
