Alan Wake finally makes it to PC next month

It’s taken over six years, a canceled version and a petition, but Alan Wake is finally coming to PC this February. And some people though the wait for the Xbox 360 version was a long one. Remedy revealed its month of release along with other information in an FAQ on their forums. It’s going to be released on Steam and will be a Steamworks title, it won’t be using dreaded Games for Windows Live.

The FAQ also lists the minimum and recommended specs, it’s a pretty broad range. The Signal and The Writer DLC will be included with the game, but unfortunately there won’t be a demo. I held out for a PC version until last year when I broke and picked up the 360 version. It was pretty damn good, certainly the most fun I’ve had with a torch. Hopefully those of you who have been waiting all this time will think it’s been worth it.
