The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) is now accepting applications for its scholarships. They’re open for those that plan to work toward careers in the gaming industry, for both undergraduate and graduate level programs. A chance to attend D.I.C.E. Summit is also included in the scholarship award.

The Randy Pausch scholarship awards two $2,500 scholarships to those working toward careers in interactive entertainment, including art, animation, programming, engineering, game direction, game design, sound design, and music composition.

The Mark Beaumont scholarship, which also awards two $2,500 scholarships, is for those headed toward the business side of the industry.

The deadline to apply is June 30, 2014. To qualify, applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.3, be a full-time student and attend an accredited college or university in the U.S. during the 2013-2014 school year.
