Raiders of the North is coming soon to Age of Empires 4, and there will be plenty of new content to clear. The major expansion will feature two new classes, new scenarios, and more.

Age of Empires 4: Raiders of the North release countdown
Raiders of the North goes live worldwide on Thursday, Oct. 29. The release date was announced earlier by Xbox, and I am not expecting any change this late. The following countdown will expire once the DLC goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 10am PT
- 12pm CT
- 1pm ET
- 5pm UTC
- 6pm CET
If there’s any change before launch, I will duly update the times on this guide.
What to expect from Age of Empires 4: Raiders of the North
Raiders of the North recreates iconic battles from the history of Europe with the introduction of two new civilizations. Both Vikings and Scots have unique gameplay features true to their origins, offering different playstyles for players to enjoy. Both classes will feature unique architecture, masteries, music and evolving language.
The Crucible mode is also going to get a major expansion with four new missions. Expect to find new Boons, Perks, Mutators, and Civilization-specific Talent Tracks. You can take on the reimagined Crucible challenges all on your own or with a buddy.
The new civilizations bring two fresh biomes in the form of Scottish Hearthland and Tundra Summer. It will be interesting to see how the new civilizations fit into the existing ones.
