The Baltic Powers expansion is coming soon to Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition, and you won’t need to wait long to try out the new chapter. The new expansion will be adding two new races, missions, and more, but first, let’s find out when the DLC goes live.

Age of Empires 3: The Baltic Powers release countdown

The Baltic Powers DLC will go live on Thursday, Sept. 10, and the following countdown will expire once it goes live. The release date was announced earlier by Xbox, and I am not expecting any change this late.

Hurry Up!

The countdown is based on the following times.

  • 10am PDT
  • 12pm CDT
  • 1pm EDT
  • 5pm UTC
  • 6pm BST
  • 7pm CEST

If there’s any change in the schedule before launch, I will duly update the new timings on this guide.

What to expect from Age of Empires 3: The Baltic Powers

The Baltic Powers DLC will be highlighted by two new Civilizations to dominate the land and the sea. First, we have the Danes, who can shape up their economy with their military presence, economic intelligence, and naval control.

The Poles, on the other hand, have their superiority in the agricultural department and an ever-expanding army. You can pick between leading early Cossack uprisings or the resurrection of the Teutonic Knights.

You can also find two new challenge scenarios to test your tactical skills. Furthermore, you can either defend the Polish-Lithuanian realm against invaders or lead a desperate Spanish defense against a British assault in Havana Heat.

The Baltic Powers DLC also brings two new game modes. In Regicide, you get to eliminate the enemy Regents for an instant win. In Independence, you get to abandon the safety of your home city and prove your prowess in skill and strategy.

You can also test out all the new features across 25 new maps, and you can also expect plenty of minor additions as part of the DLC.
