AdVenture Capitalist is setting up shop on PS4

As far as games about making progress for the sake of progress go, AdVenture Capitalist does the trick. That’s not exactly an endorsement — and in fact I would specifically recommend not playing it or other idle/clicker games, for the sake of your sanity — but I’ve been there before, so I know how these silly things can become horribly tempting once you get going. My not-so-secret shame.

AdVenture Capitalist is heading next to PlayStation 4 on August 16 (as a free-to-play title), which is novel in terms of genre and platform. If for whatever reason you’d prefer to watch your ultimately meaningless numbers climb on a console instead of on PC or mobile, well, there ya go.
