Loot-based PvP title Active Matter is coming soon to gamers worldwide, and we won’t have to wait long to begin this adventure. Developed by Matter Team, Active Matter will feature raids where you battle other players to secure the best possible loot.

Active Matter release countdown
Active Matter goes live on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The release date was announced earlier by Gaijin, and I am not expecting any change this late. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 2am PDT
- 4am CDT
- 5am EDT
- 9am UTC
- 10am BST
- 11am CEST
If there’s any change to the actual launch timings, I will duly update the schedule.
What to expect from Active Matter
In Active Matter, you’re an operator stuck in a time loop. When you die, you’re back from the dead to the same point. As such, you have to use your loadout, items, and gear to get Active Matter, which is the most vital resource in the world. However, the job is easier said than done with other operators also trying to do the same.
Active Matter is a PvPvE extraction title where outlasting humans and the environment is equally important. You can kill the Active Matter-transformed creatures to harvest the resource, but always be careful about other human opponents.
You’re not toothless in your fight since there’s a vast array of weapons to choose from. Use the real-world military technologies to outlast the horrors of the twisted timeline. You’ll also encounter eerie works of science and anomalies on your adventures.
While there’s no demo to try out, you can wishlist the game on Steam to stay on top of the upcoming launch.
