Ace Attorney Investigations 2 localization still possible

Recommended Videos

Despite its cult status here in the US, the Ace Attorney series sorta vanished for us. Following the release of spin-off title Ace Attorney Investigations in February 2010, Capcom Japan decided to close up the goodie room. We didn’t get AAI2; hell, we don’t even know if we’ll be getting Ace Attorney 5!

In an “Ask Capcom” stream from earlier this week, Senior VP of Consumer Software Christian Svensson reassured fans that a localization of AAI2 may yet happen. There won’t be an announcement tomorrow or anytime soon, but talks are ongoing. If it does appear, it most likely won’t be on DS anymore. Previous Ace Attorney games have appeared on iOS, so that’s a possibility, as is an appearance on the eShop.

In the meantime, we must sit and wait for someone over at Capcom Japan to finally give a damn.
