AC: Brotherhood PC drops constant-Internet requirement

A couple of notable updates on the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood front, PC gamers. Perhaps most important of all, Ubisoft won’t be using the absurd DRM included with Assassin’s Creed II and other titles.

To play single-player, you’ll only need an Internet connection for the initial login, according to Joystiq. Great news for those with spotty wireless or people in any number of situations where a persistent connection isn’t realistically obtainable. (On-duty soldiers, for instance.)

The other item of interest is an updated PC release date: March 22. Odd.
