AAF: The longest Nintendo fan art ever made — Team Lando

Recommended Videos

Five meters long. Over 5,000 characters. Zomg, burrito.

This has to be, without a doubt, the largest Nintendo fan art tribute ever created. This epic piece was created by TeamLando, 20-year-olds Mange and Viggo, twin brothers from Sweden. The two started on this piece back in 1999 and have been working on it on and off up until 2005. Now that doesn’t mean the piece is finished though. They have plans on working on it again and adding all types of videogame characters, not just Nintendo ones either. After all, this is only five meters of a 30 meter roll of paper so they have plenty of space to fill up.

Although the main focus of this Art Attack Friday is on the longest Nintendo fan art piece, TeamLando has also done plenty of other work which you can check out in full at their Deviant. Most of which is pencil art but there are also a couple of custom case designs done too. The Fooly Cooly one is simply fantastic.

So what do you think about the Nintendo scroll here? Impressive as hell no? Make sure to hit the gallery so you can see everything up close and personal.

[Update: Added some better zoomed in shots of the Nintendo piece. Check them out!]
