This week’s Famitsu says that the upcoming Final Fantasy series anniversary event will bring about a new announcement on Lightning Saga, the next in the Final Fantasy XIII project. In the issue, producer Yoshinori Kitase lets on that the project has just recently started, and we’ll hear the game’s official title at the event, set to go down in Tokyo next month.
The anniversary event starts on August 31, but the big announcement will happen during a stage event on September 1, says Andriasang.
I guess Final Fantasy XIII-2 did well enough that they’re hitting it again.
