A lonely robot moves boxes in this Reset gameplay trailer

Sad, sad robot

More than a year ago, we were delivered unto us a rather striking video announcing Reset, featuring a post-apocalyptic aesthetic, haunting music and a very sad looking robot. Now we have footage of what that sad robot will be doing with its time in a new gameplay trailer, and it appears to be a lot of moving boxes and staring longingly.

Now, I’m not really what you might call a “slow-pace” game player. The idea of pushing crates up hills just makes me think of Sisyphus’ eternal torment, but the visual and aural aesthetic of Reset also has me strangely eager to know more about the world it exists in. It’s a beautiful trailer with a moody and engrossing design. Hopefully the game can achieve the same.
