During the Playstation State of Play Stream, Omega Force has announced a new game in the Dynasty Warriors series. Finally. Dynasty Warriors Origins. It’s pretty shiny-looking, and it’s coming in 2015.

I don’t know what else to say about it. There’s a bajillion dudes on screen, a “nameless hero” cuts through them with a variety of weapons. Here’s the trailer:
The last Dynasty Warriors game came out back in 2018, so we’ve been due. In between those years, we got a bunch of (sometimes awesome) spin-offs. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Houses was 2022, and I thought it was pretty good. Will be nice to play one on shinier hardware, though.
Dynasty Warrior Origins is coming in 2025. It’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
