Electronic Arts: Mirror’s Edge still important to us

With the news that Mirror’s Edge 2 had been postponed while the team worked on other projects came accusations that Electronic Arts had abandoned the franchise. EA has decided to keep mute on any details, but maintained that the series wasn’t dead.

Despite not making any further announcements, Electronic Arts maintained that Mirror’s Edge was “an important franchise,” hopefully putting paid to suggestions that series was going to be officially scrapped.

Of course, this could be lip-service on the part of EA, but I have a feeling we will definitely see Mirror’s Edge 2 one day. Of course, the “when” is the big question. Certainly seems it won’t be any time soon.
