Duke Nukem Forever on board with Steamworks

Recommended Videos

2K Games and Gearbox Software have taken it to the forums to spread news of Duke Nukem Forever‘s PC version using Steamworks as its back-end suite of choice.

As such, no matter the origin of your legitimate PC purchase, it’ll hook into Steam. For retail customers, that fancy disc can double as a dangerously sharp, makeshift Frisbee.

The more interesting part of this news — to me, anyway — was seeing people come out of the woodwork to bash Steam. Who are you guys, and where have you been for the last five years? Steam is certainly not perfect (and arguably not ideal), but we could be a lot worse off here.
