I love how SEGA sent a press release this morning that said, “SEGA Genesis Classics Return,” as if the publisher has ever let these games go away. What it should have said it, “SEGA Genesis Classics Getting Whored Out Like A 100-Year-Old Prostitute At An All You Can Suck Dick Meeting Again.”
In other words, some more Genesis games are being released on the PC.
The fourth installment of SEGA Genesis Classics” will be available via your usual digital distributors for $2.99 and includes Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes, Toejam & Earl and Wonderboy III: Monster Lair among others.
Toejam & Earl is a unique one, since due to rights issues, SEGA hasn’t been able to release that game on its other thousand retro compilations. Otherwise, it’s your usual litany of games that have been released on everything, everywhere, forever.
