This past week, the GameCity videogame culture festival went down in Nottingham England. As part of the festivities, a Zelda Takeover Day was planned to celebrate the Zelda series’ 25th anniversary. For the occasion, Cory Schmitz — responsible for assembling the fan art magazine The Controller — was asked to help edit a another magazine featuring submissions from many web artists. The result is Zelda Zine, a three-part collection of art, photography, poetry, and more.

As you can see from the amazing header image above, the ever-effervescent Ashley Davis was one of the contributors. I’ve attached some more samples in the gallery below, and you can hit up Corey’s Tumblr for a few more pieces. I would love to get my hands on a physical copy of issue one, but it looks like it was limited to just attendees of the festival. Maybe we’ll have better luck with the following two issues!
