Frogger Decades gets more content in first update

All of you Frogger fans out there know by now that the iconic franchise is in the middle of celebrating its 30th birthday with several Frogger-based games like Frogger Decades in the App Store from Konami. The game just recently received its first update tweaking the touch controls, but more notably adding more content into the game.

Version 1.0.1 adds a new game mode called “Forever Mode” which allows players to play through the whole of Frogger’s journey to his birthday party in one go with just one life; the further you get, the faster enemies move and world scrolls. Two new characters, Finnius and Berry, have also been added though it appears you need to purchase them from the in-game store first.

There is also a secret playable character that’s, well, secret and unannounced. Frogger Decades is $0.99 and can be played on both iPhone and iPad and features iCADE support.
