Commence frowning: No BattleBlock Theater this year

The Behemoth won’t be be releasing BattleBlock Theater until next year? You don’t say! This sad — but not entirely unexpected — news was credited to there being “a little more R&D than we thought and lots of new ground to break.”

When Castle Crashers hits the Japanese PlayStation Network on November 25, the game will be available worldwide on XBLA and PSN. That should free up some resources, and when it comes a company of this size, more resources are greatly appreciated.

Lastly, their store has been updated with new merch, including a King figurine, Animal Orb cell phone charms, and other goodies. Give it a look here.
