Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit demo going up tomorrow

PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace are getting a limited-time demo for Criterion Games’ Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit starting tomorrow (and Wednesday, for the UK). For some mysterious reason, it’ll be taken down on November 9.

Of course, the game’s Autolog functionality will be on full display, so get ready for some serious community rivalries. The demo will let you play as a cop in the Dark Horse Hot Pursuit event and there’s also a race event dubbed Roadster’s Reborn.

You’ll even get 500 bounty award points for your efforts. These can be applied to the full version of Hot Pursuit and count toward both Cop and Racer careers. Nice!
