A table tennis controller for Wii on its way soon

I know that you’ve often looked at your Wii and thought, “if only there were a peripheral designed explicitly for playing the many fine table tennis simulators on this home videogaming console.” I, too, have had those nights. Get ready to dust off that Wii, folks!

The TT Champion Bat from Shinobii Technologies will be finding its way into retailers soon. It’s designed to be a perfect replica of a real table tennis paddle in terms of size and weight while having a Wii remote built in. I don’t know how well you could use it for anything but a tennis-based game and, frankly, I’m questioning the wisdom of even doing that with a $69.99 controller.

I’m sure it’ll sell bucket loads.
