OK, so it still doesn’t show much in the way of actual gameplay (it’s an intro movie, what did you expect?), but it does show off more of a sushi bar, Vincent’s bedroom and underwear, beer cans, sheep, a clock, an apartment door peep-hole, and the (Japanese) voice cast, which includes Norio Wakamoto, a guy whose mere presence makes anything cooler. Also, the rap song was provided by a dude called “L-Vokal”, in case you care.
Veterans of watching contemporary Persona-team game intro movies might note that this isn’t like the typical Persona-team game intro movie, which is usually full of abstract imagery and sometimes cute Engrish. This reminds me more of the opening to Grand Theft Auto, what with all the text-on-surfaces stuff going on.
What do you think? Stylish and sophisticated, or do you miss the running-person-silhouettes and that sort of thing?
