You’re going to be seeing a lot more of the Visceral Games branding, if EA has anything to do with it. Talking with Gamasutra, general manager Nick Earl revealed the company’s intention to become “number one inside of the action space.”

It was divulged during this interview that Visceral will be handling the next Command & Conquer, and from the sound of it, this new installment will be a departure from the norm. Earl summed it up as “pretty far out.”

On an unrelated note, he also mentioned how they “are going to have strong third-person multiplayer with every one of [their] games.” I’m not sure how I feel about that. Does every third-person action game need multiplayer? Even if it is “strong”?
