First-party Wii Remote with built in MotionPlus coming

It looks like Nintendo’s doing what it should have done from the start — releasing a Wii Remote with MotionPlus technology built right inside.

GameStop has dropped the info by way of box art for the upcoming Wii title, FlingSmash, which requires the use of the more accurate motion sensing technology. It appears that the game will ship alongside the “Wii Remote Plus,” a black Wii remote that has the MotionPlus technology inside. No more need for the annoying dongle! Nyko recently released a similar third-party accessory, called Wand Plus.

We had originally reported that FlingSmash may ship for a discounted price of $29.99, this based on a GameStop listing found a few months back. Looks like that changed when Nintendo decided to up the ante, including this new accessory inside; FlingSmash with the Wii Remote Plus is now listed at $49.99.

From what I’ve played of FlingSmash, it’s an absolute blast. This new controller certainly sweetens the pot.
