NASA MMO has reached its Kickstarter goal

Recommended Videos

Last week, we told you about how NASA wanted your help to make a game. Well, we’ve got some good news. By using Kickstarter, they not only reached their goal of $25,000, but have already passed it by over $5,000.

Astronaut: Moon, Mars and Beyond is being developed by Project Whitecard and Wisdom Tools under the guidance of NASA. Since they are just getting the funding together, it will be a while before the game is finished and available for us to play. They haven’t specified when the game will fully launch, but a beta is planned for December 2012.

The game has a website available if you would like to learn more, and they have a FAQ being assembled on their forums.
