Say what you will about the Assassin’s Creed series — we’ve certainly said our share — but damn if it isn’t pretty. Watching a trailer like this is a lot like staring across the bar at an exquisitely beautiful woman. You want nothing more than to take her home but, in the back of your mind, you just know the experience is going to be disappointing in some way. The only difference being that, in the case of Assassin’s Creed, at least you won’t suffer the shame of being the one responsible for the shortcoming.
But enough about my problems. Equally awesome is the musical selection, “Burn my shadow away” by Unkle. I’m probably going to spend the rest of my day thinking about that song until I break down and buy all of their albums. Thanks for that, Ubisoft.
