I Am Alive rated by Australian Classification Board

When it rains, it pours. Fresh from the maybe-possibly-real trailer that leaked out, Ubisoft’s disaster survival game I Am Alive seems to be gaining traction in the real world and out of the realms of vaporware. The Australian Classification Board has become a reliable, accidental source for details on unreleased games and thanks to a Tweet from @VOOK64, they have rated I Am Alive today at an MA15+ rating for “Strong Themes and Violence”.

Ubisoft have subsequently pulled that leaked trailer from the Internet and aren’t offering any more details regarding I Am Alive at the moment. But this MA15+ rating all but confirms that this game is set for release sometime soon. As far as an Australian release is concerned, the mention of “Modifed Version” in the rating should be cause for alarm. Whether this game has been edited to receive an MA15+ rating remains to be seen.
