M-rated adventure with LotR: War in the North

Recommended Videos

Despite there being a series of licensed games already on the market, Lord of the Rings: War in the North is the first M rating for the Lord of the Rings series — a more “true to the books” feel than the teen-rated games we have seen in the past.

The game is a co-op-based RPG set within Middle Earth that requires humans, elves, dwarfs and mages to work together to navigate the world. I talked to Ruth Tomandl, producer at Snowblind and discussed what this new game hopes to bring, how the characters work together and if she thinks the new M rating will affect its appeal to the mass market.
