After Ensemble Studios closed its doors a few years ago, the staffers went their separate ways and some even created their own development houses. Windstorm Studios is one such company that was created by former Ensemble developer Dusty Monk. Windstorm has been teasing their first project over the summer through their blog and today they have officially announced Atomic City Adventures – the Case of the Black Dragon will be launching August 15th exclusively through Impulse.

Atomic City Adventures is a third-person action adventure game with an awesome retro-futuristic aesthetic where you ride hoverbikes and fight vicious robots. If you pre-order the game you can pick it up for $9.99, which is $5.00 off the original price. You can’t go wrong with any game for ten bucks, so definitely look out for this one on August 15th.
