Do you know of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone’s Fighting Fantasy series of interactive Gamebooks? Talisman of Death is one of the best-known (and controversial) Fighting Fantasy adventures, and it’s now a PlayStation Minis title from Laughing Jackal.
The developers of this upcoming game say that they’ve taken care with Fighting Fantasy, as fans. Expect the original dice-based gameplay along with lovely artwork. They say that there’s also an all new tile-based combat system and a Test your Luck game within. The above video does a good job of showing how this will all work as a Minis game. I think it looks delightfully nerdy, and right up my alley.
The EU PlayStation Blog says that Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death hits the PlayStation Network in August.
