Upcoming Duke Nukem Forever PC patch outlined

There are many issues to take with Duke Nukem Forever. Some of them — at least for the PC version — are being addressed in a future update by Gearbox Software.

A recent forum post by community manager Chris Faylor (via Reddit) tells us what to expect: the number of weapons you can carry is being bumped from two up to four, Valve Anti-Cheat System support is coming, as is push-to-talk voice chat, the ability to adjust your field of view, “plus other fixes and improvements that are still being tested.”

“We’ll be sharing more details about the updates, including those coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as they’re finalized.” So, potentially the weapon upgrade could make it to DNF on consoles. FOV editing? Probably not.
