Neil Burger of The Illusionist and Limitless fame has signed on to write and direct the Uncharted film, according to Variety. He is reportedly reworking the project.
As you might recall, David O. Russell left the movie due to creative differences. I’m guessing you do recall, based on the constant complaining about his vision for Uncharted. I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up with a product more closely related to the videogames, now. Hooray?
