Confirming what we already knew, Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced today that the PlayStation 3 will be the first and only console to offer Hulu Plus this year. “Select” PlayStation Plus members will have access to to the Hulu Plus preview starting today for an additional $9.99 per month, the going rate for the monthly Hulu Plus service.
Sony says that Hulu Plus is expected to roll out “in the coming months” for the PS3, as well as other Sony Electronic Internet-connected devices, like a number of BRAVIA TVs and Blu-ray players.
I know some of you don’t care for what Hulu Plus is offering, but I’m pretty excited. As a PlayStation Plus subscriber, I’m hoping I’m deemed worthy enough to give them another $9.99 to try it out.
