Blacklight: Tango Down 2 confirmed … seriously

The PC version of Blacklight: Tango Down was only released today but Zombie Studios has already confirmed that the sequel, tentatively (and imaginatively) called Blacklight: Tango Down 2, is in the works. The downloadable first-person-multiplayer shooter is aiming for a Summer 2011 release.

Tango Down 2 will feature bigger maps and mech-like vehicles that players can get in. Maybe that will mean players can take up to FIVE bullets before they die! There are also no plans for downloadable content in the original game, despite there being a DLC option in the game’s menu.

Considering I gave the game a less than glowing review just this past Sunday, I’ll remain skeptical about a sequel. Congratulations to them for being able to secure one though, I guess. Now excuse me while I scrub my eyes in disbelief over this whole announcement.
