Walmart taking pre-orders for $199 Kinect bundle

Get Kinect-ed! Hey, that was Walmart’s words, not mine.

They’ve already set up a dedicated page for Microsoft’s motion-sensing product at Walmart.com. You can go there to learn about the tech as well as pre-order it. They have the pre-order set at $199, but note that your order comes with your choice of one game and a $30 Walmart.com gift card.

On the free game, you’ll choose from:

• Kinect Sports
• Kinect Dance Central
• Kinect Joy Ride
• Kinectimals

It seems that other Kinect games will be added to this list.

Two-hundred bucks may sound like a lot, but you’re getting a $60 game and a $30 gift card. This sounds like a pretty solid deal.
