[Update] We now have three new NHL 11 screenshots for your viewing pleasure in the gallery below. In case you’re wondering about what the last one shows, another new feature in the game is user-controlled goal celebrations.

[Original story] EA Canada is bringing a host of gameplay improvements and additions to NHL 11, including a real-time physics engine, broken sticks, a real face-off system, and more. And the spectacular Be A Pro mode now includes the Canadian Hockey League. In the developer diary above, line producer Sean Ramjagsingh goes through the list of new stuff, and it all looks pretty awesome.

In case you missed the E3 trailer, you can check it out here. NHL 11, with Jonathan Toews on the box, will be out on September 7, 2010.
