We’ve got an exclusive version of the boss trailer that has been doing the rounds for Arc Rise Fantasia. You can watch it if you like by clicking play on the video. But do it in an exclusive way, because it is exclusive, apparently.
The video details a fight against a big green monster who bears more than a passing resemblance to a Malboro from Final Fantasy. As always, the dodgy localization is in place, but I’m hoping the traditional turn-based combat is good enough to make up for the issue.
I’ve still got my hopes for this game, as I do for any game that realized reinventing the JRPG wheel is totally unnecessary. If Ignition could see its way clear to giving us a Japanese voiceover to assuage the purists between now and launch, however, I’m sure excitement for the game would increase considerably.
