Splatterhouse E3 trailer will house your splatters

Namco Bandai has released its official E3 trailer for Splatterhouse. This retro revival has had a troubled development to say the least, but I’m still keeping a faint glimmer of hope for the game’s creative success. As a man with a soft spot for the old games, I would love a genuinely good Splatterhouse reboot.

I’m fairly certain I’m scheduled to check this game out at E3 next week, so I’ll definitely keep my fingers crossed. It’s really not hard to make a good Splatterhouse game — just make sure there’s lots of punching and blood. Easy, right?

Trailer’s pretty hot, at the very least.
