Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s VIP map pack 3 coming June 9

The upcoming paid co-op DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, “Onslaught,” still doesn’t have a release date. Thankfully, EA DICE is putting out the third map pack for the game, which was announced back in April, on June 9th — so Bad Company 2 fans will have something to tide them over until Onslaught launches.

This pack is free as long as you’re part of the VIP program — that is, you bought the game new or paid $15 for the VIP add-on. It includes a four-team Squad Deathmatch mode on Nelson Bay, the snowy map, as well as Squad Rush on Laguna Alta. Check out the trailer above for some action-packed gameplay on both. Will you be trying this out when it launches on Wednesday?
