Hideo Kojima and Square Enix are up to shenanigans

Recommended Videos

We heard a couple months back that Kojima and Square Enix were working on some things together relating to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Specifically, the RPG mammoth is producing toys based on the characters and mechs in the game while Kojima is reciprocating by tossing in items from Front Mission into Peace Walker. Fair trade, I’d say.

The pairing may not be quite finished yet. Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto tweeted today, saying, “A new promotion with Hideo Kojima is set. Details will be shared at a later date.” And he spiffied his deliberately vague text up with a photo of himself, Kojima and Metal Gear series art director Yoji Shinkawa.

Mysterious! What could they possibly be up to?
